We are so excited to be offering a kokedama making workshop where my Anita Shaw and husband Ashley, will teach you all the skills needed in making your own unique kokedama to enjoy and display at home. We provide all the materials needed and will have several quality plants to choose from. Be prepared to get your hands dirty (but not your clothes as we have lovingly handmade aprons for you to use) as it's truly a grounding and rewarding experience in creating a ball of plant and string goodness.
Originating from Japan and translating from "koke" meaning moss and "dama" meaning ball. Kokedama is the practice of encasing the root ball of a plant in potting mix and then wrapped in a layer of sphagnum moss and entwined with string.
Kokedama are 'pot-less' plants that look beautiful simply sitting on a dish or suspended from a string.
Kokedamas are a beautiful addition to your home décor or a fabulous idea for gifting.
Food platter and tea and coffee provided.
